The 2012 Indicators of behavior (KPI) continue with the observed downward trend during the last 10 years, except in 2010 that due to specific circumstances (increase of the versatility of workers, need to assume new roles…) they were unusually high. Thus, KPIs are have gone putting in values increasingly lower, stood in some cases (Frequency rate) below the average values of the European sector1
Especially pronounced is the descent of the Severity Rate of the direct staff that declines a 35% of the value of 2011. Among the possible causes of this decrease could be the fact that the average of the age of the sector has decreased, and usually, a younger age corresponds shorter periods of sick leave.
The reduction of accidents in the sector during the last 10 years (2003-2012) is reflected by the reduction of the number of accidents involving temporally disability (LTIs) by a 73%, of the Rate of Frequency by 66% and the Severity Rate by 57%.
